Hall Teasses Lodge is a wonderfully peaceful and spacious holiday home overlooking the rural landscape and private fishing loch of Teasses estate near to St Andrews & the East Neuk of Fife
Hall Teasses Lodge was re-built in 1998 and is a very comfortable Lodge with fantastic open views across the 11,000 acre Estate & Fife countryside.
The bedrooms are on the Ground Floor and is flexible accommodation. There are two ensuite bedrooms and a third bedroom with a private shower room. If only 4 people staying, this room can be made into a little sitting room with patio doors onto the Garden. The whole house benefits from underfloor heating but is also boosted by a woodburning stove in the Hall and upstairs too in the sitting room. Downstairs also has a spacious boot room.
The main living areas are upstairs with a sitting room, kitchen and a dining room that seats up to 16 people. The kitchen is very well-appointed with everything that you will need for a self-catering holiday. But we can also organise for the house to be catered during your stay.
Teasses Estate has fly-fishing on their pond that is accessible for all guests along with Clay Pigeon shooting. It is a quiet & private estate and as guests you will enjoy the peace & quiet as well as some gorgeous walks. There is a beautifully landscaped garden to visit on the Estate too.
Fife is a Foodies Heaven. There are two Michelin starred restaurants The Peat Inn at Peat Inn and the Cellar at Anstruther - both within 15 minutes drive of Teasses. Jamie Scott and Dean Banks, both of finalists of Masterchef:The Professionals have chosen to open their own restaurants in Fife - The Newport Restaurant and Haar Restaurant respectively. Add to this some fantastic local farm shops, cafe and producers, you are spoilt for choice!
It is also a golfer's paradise with St Andrews on your doorstep as well as historic links golf courses Crail, Scotscraig and Lundin Links.
For families, Elie is a Watersports Haven with sailing, canoeing, paddle-boarding and more available.
Teasses is part of the Discover Scottish Gardens programme along with Cambo Gardens and there are a lot of Gardens in the area that take part in the Open Gardens scheme too.
And for History & Heritage, visit Kellie Castle, St Andrews Castle & Catheral, the Hill of Tarvit and in Dundee, RRS Discovery as well as the V&A. And just down the road from Teasses, the Fife Folk Museum and the famous Wemyss Ware Pottery.
