Kyllachy lies in the Upper Findhorn Valley just upstream from Tomatin.
Kyllachy House commands an inspiring south faciing position overlooking the river with the grouse moor behind.
It is an impressive traditional Victorian house sleeping 16 with 4 ensuite twin/double rooms on the first floor, 2 twin and 2 double bedrooms on the second floor, a disabled suite on the ground floor and 2 further upstairs back bedrooms, a twin an single, ideal for staff accommodation or for children.
This area is beautifully located for the Cairngorm National Park, for the Moray Speyside Coast and for the northern Highlands and Loch Ness. An area packed with whisky distilleries, hillwalking opportunities, cycling, history, heritage and much more.
The Kyllachy Beat provides salmon fishing for 4 rods on 2.5 miles of the Upper Finhorn. The first salmon generally reach the area in late Spring and then numbers build steadily through the season until the close on 30th September. The upper river requires rain to fish best, but in the right conditions, the beat can be very productive. There is a great variety of pools, runs and holding water the majority of which are easily fished. The best is prdominantly single bank but there is a recipricol arrangement with the far bank to ensure tenants do not have anyone fishing opposite them.
