The Isle of Jura is one of the jewels of the Inner Hebrides. Wild, unspoilt, incredibly beautiful and yet also easily accessible. As a tonic for the stresses of the modern world and as an escape post-Covid it has few equals. Set in a glorious location on the sea shore, Ruantallain offers magnificent views across Tarbert Bay and the Sound of Jura and the comfortable lodge has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a games room and a drying room
In 2021 Ruantallain are offering 5 night (4 day) gastronomic experience holidays in May, June and July. The weeks will be catered by Antony Dubber, a chef whose background is in London fine dining but whose passion is cooking and working in the world’s wild places. During the day Ruantallin’s outdoor team will help you unlock Jura’s secrets and natural larder by boat and by land. In the evenings, when you return weary from your adventures, Ant will create nightly feasts showcasing the very best West Coast produce including lobsters, scallops, venison, goat (!) and the fruits of your foraging. The weeks are for a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 8 (although 10 if children are included).
