The reception rooms include drawing room, sitting room (with TV, videos, games etc) a conservatory with snooker table, dining room, fully fitted modern kitchen and breakfast room, various utility rooms and staff sitting room. There are also clothes washing facilities and drying room.
The Fishing
The River Tay is one of Scotland’s salmon fishing jewels and fresh fish are present from the opening day on the 15th Jan right through to the close of the season. Fishing is from boat and bank, there are excellent huts, first class ghillies and there is always the chance of connecting with a Tay monster. The river has excellent fly fishing and spinning is also permitted. The Tay is a very social river and perfect for both expert and beginner. In today’s climate a very great attraction of the river is that it is never too low to fish.
Summerhill has a portfolio of weekly fishings from early spring right through to the close of the season. These include weeks on the river’s best beats including Taymount, Stobhall, Upper Scone, Murthly, and Ballathie. The beats fish from 3 to 6 rods.
In nearly all cases it is a requirement to take both house and fishing.
